C’est tellement vrai ! Il y a même des études très sérieuses sur les bienfaits sur la santé mentale et le bien-être des jardiniers et usagers des espaces verts. Personnellement, je ne sais pas à quoi c’est dû précisément, mais je constate que passer du temps à jardiner (ou à lire un certain blog du Jardinier paresseux) m’apaise et me met de bonne humeur !
Je vous lis à chaque matin en prenant mon café. Impossible de m’en passer.

C´est une très belle réflexion qui me semble juste pour les « amateurs passionnés » que nous sommes. Lorsque nous transposons le jardinage au niveau commercial, comme le maraîchage, le manque de main d´oeuvre est criant. Même l´apport de main
d´oeuvre temporaire étrangère n´en comble qu´une partie. Une nouvelle génération de maraîchers plus bio et axée sur la permaculture avec des champs plus petits, germe au Québec. Et c´est tant mieux. Cultures plus variées, qui n´arrivent pas à maturité en même temps allègent le stress des propriétaires.
Cultiver avec amour et la joie de voir pousser une dizaine de laitues est fort différent de devoir en récolter 10 000. Notre joie est de faire « tout petit » et de ne pas en dépendre pour notre survie économique. Soyons fiers de ce petit plaisir délicieux que nous avons choisis. Que ce soit pour les yeux ou pour notre assiette.

Il y a quelques jours j’ai vu une tâche jaune au fond du jardin. Çà m’a intriguée parce les plantes et les fleurs sont déjà fanées, tout est sec. Je me suis habillée en vitesse pour aller voir de près. C’était une petite rudbeckie qui commençait à ouvrir au ras du sol. C’est qu’elle est coriace cette fleur et une des dernieres à s’éteindre. Elle a vraiment mis du soleil dans ma journée.
